the first forty days, the sacred window, the golden opportunity
I provide holistic postpartum care rooted in the sacredness of birth
simply put, postpartum care is preventative medicine.
Thoughtful postpartum care supports recovery before depletion sets in. By offering steady presence, nourishment, and practical support, small concerns are addressed early—before they become larger physical, emotional, or relational struggles. This kind of care strengthens the foundation of the parent, the infant, and the family as a whole
Testimonials:
I cannot thank you enough for your hug in those immediate moments and general care and tenderness. Your presence was incredibly calming to us all and offered very necessary relief.

I'm expressing such gratitude for the days you helped me.

Postpartum care with Ali, I highly recommend! I looked forward to every day that she came over and felt genuinely relieved when she would show up. I felt I had the freedom to stay in bed with my baby for as long as I wanted, and confident handing him over to her if I wanted to. She was highly receptive to my needs and was able to anticipate what I needed before I even knew it. She offered lovely suggestions and was willing to do whatever felt good to me on any certain day whether it was bodywork, nutrient dense cooking, tidying, laundry, baby tips & advice, soothing herbal baths / sitz baths and more! I feel so nourished and taken care of!

It was so incredibly helpful having you here today, and such a pick-me-up to see you! Thank you so much again for all your help and nourishment. I feel very cared after.

The care I offer is based upon ancient postpartum traditions that were studied across millennia. I’d like to give credit and gratitude to Rachelle Seliga, CPM for pinpointing the 5 pillars of postpartum care to which this offering is based: Rest, Warmth, Warm Nutrient Dense Food, Bodywork, and Community.
While I am trained as a nurse and carry that knowledge with me, my role in your home is not a medical one. I am here to offer supportive, non-clinical care, and to help you navigate the postpartum period—not to replace your healthcare team.
