Ali Brackett, RN, BSN

My journey to birth care began through child care and grew into a deep devotion towards women and children.

Through education and licensure, I am a nurse. I have experience caring for pregnant women and their children, with a majority of time spent caring for neonates in the intensive care unit. I have attended births in the home, and care for mamas and children in the home through postpartum care.

I have passionately pursued education beyond my nursing degree, driven by a deep dedication to lifelong learning and expansion.

I have deep relationship with the ecosystem I live. I work closely with the thresholds of life, death and rebirth through ceremony, ritual, song, dance and breath.

I feel a connection to science in all forms: elemental, physiologic, esoteric, immaterial, astrological, biological and botanical. I am committed to bridging these worlds to support maternal and infant well-being.

My teachers are the plants, water and animals in the ecosystem I live within, the women and mothers who came before me, the rising of the sun and moon, the changing of the seasons, mother earth’s heart beat, Maria Maldonado, and Rachelle Seliga.
